Awards for Excellence: Award Winning Auctioneer
Basil is a respected, award-winning industry professional who heads up Harcourts Vision’s Sales Department while maintaining an active daily role in sales. A strong leader with a proven history of sales and auctioneering success, Basil enjoys managing, mentoring and supporting his sales team, with the ultimate aim of seeing clients succeed in all of their property endeavours.
Together with Co-Director and sister Rosa Zoccali, who manages the Property Management Department, Basil also oversees the day to day operation of what is a successful real estate office that consistently attracts high levels of repeat and referral business.
Formerly a successful agent and auctioneer with some of the biggest names in real estate, Basil was not only named Number 1 Sales Consultant in the office, he also took out Victorian Auctioneer of the Year for his outstanding success in the auction arena. Basil has since trained other auctioneers and is called upon for his expertise in the field.
Known for energetic auctions that fuel emotions and maximise buyer competition, Basil also understands the importance of building momentum in the lead up to auction day. A targeted and carefully executed sales and marketing campaign ensures maximum buyer interest, as does the diligent, timely follow up of potential buyers.
“The same applies to private sales,” adds Basil. “We work very closely with our potential buyers and are proactive in our approach throughout. We set targets and have structures and processes in place with the single aim of achieving the best outcome on clients’ behalf.”
While Basil has worked extensively across the northwest region, he has also lived locally his entire life. His exceptional knowledge of and passion for the area is a great asset when presenting its best features to potential buyers, whether promoting its lifestyle opportunities, excellent services and facilities, or its renowned schools.
Basil is a strong negotiator who relates to all types of vendors and buyers with confidence, while also remaining sensitive to the multicultural needs and cultural diversity of an area he knows and loves well.
